Arcos is 20 minutes from Jerez, 60 minutes from Cádiz and 75 minutes from Seville. Besides the airports in Jerez and Seville, the Málaga airport is two hours away.

The Jerez train station has connections to Cádiz, Seville, Madrid and Barcelona. There is a bus connection to Jerez and the main cities of western Andalusia.

From Jerez de la Frontera, get onto the N IV toward Antequera and go 30 kilometres to Arcos de la Frontera. You will pass two petrol stations (each on opposite sides of the road) and continue toward Bornos. Follow the road up the hill and go straight until you pass another petrol station on the right and continuing straight ahead you will start to go down the hill. You will end up at the Campo de Fútbol Municipal (The Municipal Football Field) and the sports centre, and at the intersection turn right towards El Bosque. Continue towards El Bosque and you will pass over a dam where you will see the Lago de Arcos (Arcos Lake). When you get to the roundabout follow along straight ahead until you pass a petrol station on the left and turn right at the next intersection and about 3 kilometres on the left bank of the roadside you will find La Posada.
